Australia’s most anticipated kite-flying festival is back, bringing Bondi alive with colour, culture, and community. Expect spectacular kite shows from the Australian Kite Flying Society, cultural food and entertainment from around the world, and hands-on kite-making workshops for all ages. 🌈🪁

The iconic Bondi Pavilion will once again host vibrant cultural showcases, continuing a tradition that began with the very first Festival of the Winds in 1978.

Presented by Waverley Council in partnership with the AKFS, this is one of Sydney’s most colourful, family-friendly festivals — and we can’t wait to share music and energy with you by the sea.
